Experienced Trauma Therapist & Eating Disorder Specialist
Hi
I’m Hanna
I’m a relatable, compassionate, and authentic mental health professional with a Master of Social Work (RSW). I bring years of experience providing trauma-informed and strengths-based therapy.
With presence, compassion, openness, and warmth I hold space for you to be present with your emotional experiences, thoughts, memories, and beliefs. All parts of you are welcome here.
I’m here to make sure you feel heard, seen, and understood so you can heal fully. No issue is too big or too small.
I strongly believe in the capacity for therapy to heal even our deepest and darkest wounds.
You, as a whole and complex human, are welcome in our shared space. Together, we will navigate whatever you are going through.
People often connect with me when they feel frustrated, stuck in unhelpful cycles of behaviour, and uncertain about how to cope. This can be an incredibly stressful and lonely state to be in.
I feel super honoured and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing.
I bring my full authentic self into sessions so you can to.

EMDR helps ease distress and heal trauma. Sessions follow a unique structure so you feel safe and can slowly process painful memories. We will work to resolve traumatic memories by shifting unhelpful beliefs, finding new perspectives, and releasing energy from the body.
Using bilateral stimulation and dual attention to effectively and quickly resolve stuck reactions. Helping you integrate experiences and move forward.
EMDR can also be helpful for anxiety, body image distress, and OCD.

When anxiety gets in the way of our goals and interests, it’s important to challenge it. Through gradual exposure, you will feel increased confidence and reduced anxiety, allowing you to do what’s important to you.
Therapy supports you to explore your fears and insecurities and learn to respond to them with mindfulness and effective coping skills.
Treating panic attacks, social anxiety, worries/fears, and phobias. Experience relief from demanding intrusive thoughts and frustrating compulsive behaviours.

Experiencing strong emotions doesn’t have to be overwhelming and concerning. We can learn to cope with intense emotions and gain skills in distress tolerance, urge surfing, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Therapy that helps balance strong feelings through mindfulness and other evidence-based skills.
This therapy is for you if you’re someone who struggles to control their anger, self-harms when upset, feels overwhelmed with anxiety/sadness, and often feels in crisis.

Struggling families and couples benefit from support to understand the cycles they get stuck in, attune to each other and connect deeply, and learn to communicate more effectively.
The Gottman method is an effective and evidence-based therapy for couples. It’s skills-based and emotion-focused, helping couples get to the root of their problems and solve them.
Emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT) helps families find new ways of connecting and communicating. Maintaining secure attachments through validation, effective coregulation, and collaborative behaviour change.
